Volunteer Opportunities help the Kistler Center and are a great way to get involved in the community and make new friends.
People of all ages volunteer for the Center, and there are many ways individuals and groups can help.
Volunteers may help with events such as A Night in the Caribbean, Oktoberfest, Tri for Kids, iTri, or Roll into Fall. Whether it’s selling tickets, painting faces, counting laps, or baking, there’s something for everyone.
Volunteers are essential for projects such as stuffing and sealing envelopes, wrapping gifts, and laminating therapy supplies. We never know what new and interesting project might come up next.
Therapy may include motor skills groups with special themes such as dance, cheerleading, swimming, and martial arts. These activities give our children a sense of normalcy and help to develop socialization, heightened self-esteem, and improved coordination. Volunteers with expertise in these and other areas are encouraged to help with the groups.
